2 Dead, 2 ‘Critical’ After Nevada Middle School Shooting

(ABC News) – Two people are dead and two boys are in critical condition after a shooter opened fire at Sparks Middle School in northern Nevada this morning, according to police.

Detective Rocky Triplett of the Sparks Police Department told ABCNews.com that the shooter is believed to be one of the two fatalities.

Two boys were rushed to Renown Regional Hospital and are in critical condition, hospital spokeswoman Angela Rambo told ABCNews.com.

Police have declared the school safe, but stressed that it remains an active crime scene.
