In Memory of William Ross Albertson
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of William Ross Albertson, fondly known as Bill, on November 18, 2023, in Spring, Texas. Born on May 1, 1961, in Ottumwa, Iowa, Bill was the beloved son of Cecil (Buster) and Peggy (Park) Albertson.

From a young age, he immersed himself in the sport, actively participating in Little League, Babe Ruth, and Senior Babe Ruth leagues. His talent and dedication were evident as he achieved great success on the field. A true fan at heart, Bill’s loyalty lay with the St. Louis Cardinals, and he cherished the opportunity to attend numerous games throughout the years.

After graduating from Ottumwa High School in 1979, Bill continued his education at the prestigious American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa. Equipped with valuable knowledge and skills, he embarked on a journey that took him to Denton, Texas, and eventually to Collinsville, Illinois.
Throughout his life, Bill was known for his warm and compassionate nature. He had an innate ability to connect with others, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he crossed paths with. Friends and family fondly remember him for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering support.

In 2010, Bill settled in Spring, Texas, where he found solace in the vibrant community and the natural beauty surrounding him. He embraced the Texan lifestyle, enjoying the warm weather and welcoming atmosphere. Bill’s presence brought joy to those around him, and his absence will undoubtedly leave an irreplaceable void in the lives of his loved ones.
