Only obituaries submitted by funeral homes may be listed on this page or on the live announcements read daily on 1240 am KBIZ Radio. All announcements submitted to KBIZ will be shown on this page and read live on the air twice daily Monday through Friday, at 6:35 am and 12:10 pm, and also on Saturdays at 6:35 am, from the time we receive it until the date of the service.

Services 17 year old Elizabeth Arroyo

 

A Funeral Mass for 17 year old Elizabeth Arroyo of Ottumwa will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 at St. Mary of the Visitation with burial in Shaul Cemetery.  Visitation will begin Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at Reece Funeral Home.  The rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home with family visitation until 8:00 p.m.  

Services 78 Dwain Ward

 

Funeral services for 78 year old Dwain Ward of Ottumwa will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at Reece Funeral Home with burial in Ottumwa Cemetery with military services conducted by the Walter B. Schafer Post #775 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the O.B. Nelson Post #3 of the American Legion.   Visitation will begin Friday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at Reece Funeral Home with family visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. 

Services 83 Lester Johnson

A Funeral Mass for 83 year old Lester Johnson of Ottumwa will be held Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery with military services conducted by the Walter B. Schafer Post #775 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and O.B. Nelson Post #3 of the American Legion.  Visitation will begin Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.
