OTTUMWA—Parent teacher conferences in the Ottumwa School District will be held Monday – Thursday, February 24 through February 27 for grades preK-12. Students will be released Thursday, February 27 at 1 p.m. and no classes or conferences will be held on Friday, February 28.
The McCarroll Early Childhood Center will host conferences on Monday and Tuesday, February 24 and 25 from 5 – 8:30 p.m. and Thursday, February 27 from 1:30 – 7 p.m. Parents will receive their scheduled appointments prior to conferences.
Eisenhower, James, and Wilson Elementary Schools will hold conferences on Monday, February 24 from 5 – 8:30 p.m. Agassiz, Horace Mann, Liberty, and Wildwood will hold conferences on Tuesday, February 25 from 5 – 8:30 p.m. All elementary schools will also schedule conferences on Thursday, February 27 from 1:30 – 7 p.m. Elementary conferences are by appointment only. Please contact your child’s teacher to schedule an appointment time if you haven’t already.
Parents of students attending Evans Middle School may visit with teachers on Monday, February 24 from 5 – 8:30 p.m. or Thursday from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 – 7 p.m. Conferences are pre-scheduled. Contact the school for additional information at 684-6511 x2150.
Ottumwa High School advisory teachers will contact parents in early February to set up a five minute advisory appointment. All teachers will be in the cafeteria on Tuesday, February 25 between 5-8:30 p.m. and Thursday, February 27 from 5-7 p.m. for advisory appointments. After meeting with the advisor, parents are free to visit any and all classroom teachers until their next advisory appointment. All OHS teachers will be available in their classrooms for walk-in appointments on Thursday from 1:30-4 p.m. This format allows parents to meet with their student’s advisory teacher and any classroom teachers to discuss academic performance. Interpreters will be located in the cafeteria if needed.
ACCA parents may schedule an appointment with teachers on Tuesday from 5 – 8:30 p.m. or Thursday from 1:30 – 4 p.m. and 5 – 7 p.m. Contact the ACCA at 683-1342 for an appointment.
